Marketing Strategists are responsible for assisting the marketing strategy team in the diverse daily needs of their clients, leveraging learning opportunities to develop their skillset and supporting other agency activities on an as-needed basis.

Requirements: It’s recommended, but not required, that Marketing Strategists have a BA/BS degree in marketing, business, communications or related field. Previous internship experience is a plus.

  • Maintains positive morale and sense of teamwork among agency staff
  • Demonstrates initiative and willingness to assume greater responsibility
  • Excels at organizing and prioritizing to deliver high quality work most efficiently
  • Has the ability to lead others, across the agency, motivating them and fostering an environment of collaboration and trust
  • Serves as a knowledge hub on assigned projects and accounts
  • Is thorough and detail-oriented

Day-to-day expectations:

  • Traffic programs and projects internally and externally, keeping them on strategy, on time and within budget
  • Serve as a project liaison between the agency and client and the marketing strategy team and the rest of the agency
  • Monitor industry research, retail environment, competitive activity and collection of competitive samples
  • Organize, develop and assist the account leads in client presentations
  • Prepare accurate and timely production, media and other budgets and estimates for approval
  • Proofread and review all work prior to submitting it to the internal team or client for approval
  • Gather estimates from third parties, as appropriate
  • Assist in the coordination of client billing with the accounting department, check for accuracy and review against estimates
  • Manage administrative duties, including weekly status reports, project documentation and internal job flow
