We are looking for an experienced senior copywriter to lead the copy development and content strategy for a variety of home retail brands and clients. Copy and content will support client work across multiple consumer touchpoints, including video, digital campaigns, social media, ecommerce and advertising.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications or related discipline; 5+ years’ experience of copywriting or related communications experience; agency experience a plus.

  • Partner and effectively communicate with a range of personalities and work styles, both internally and with clients
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently and responsibly, while still maintaining a level of flexibility to quickly respond to changing client demands
  • Have a competent knowledge of digital advertising, social media, SEO, websites, etc., to ensure that copy translates appropriately in those mediums
  • Be an articulate, compelling and persuasive presenter
  • Maintain effective organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Work with Creative team to ensure ideas are executed to our highest standards and are on strategy
  • Play an active role in mentoring junior copywriters
  • Possess good leadership, people and project management skills
  • Make sure the CD or ACD is signing off on concepts before being presented and is aware of any issues

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively develop creative concepts to ensure delivery of results-oriented work across multiple teams and clients
  • Interpret creative/project briefs to develop creative concepts through execution on assigned accounts
  • Create on-brand, on-strategy, and compelling creative solutions that are supported by research
  • Develop consistent messaging across all platforms including traditional advertising, digital advertising, social media, e-commerce and public relations, resulting in integrated creative campaigns
  • Research and understand client needs and target audiences through reviews of existing research, online searches, interviews with subject matter experts and client/team meetings
  • Be proficient in directing the vision for broadcast (e.g., video, radio, podcasts) productions
  • Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal teams and clients
  • Support new business initiatives and pitches, as needed
  • Meet assigned deadlines and, if necessary, communicate with team members to shift timelines
  • Continually develop and refine your knowledge and abilities to perform at the highest levels
  • Seek and share examples of creative excellence with the agency while maintaining an awareness of work being produced by industry-leading creatives
  • Read industry and consumer publications to keep up with our changing profession and share that information with others
  • Identify and participate in opportunities to build and expand a professional network
  • Add to the culture of Sales Factory by participating in events/activities and by creating/organizing new events/activities
