GREENSBORO, N.C.—Sales Factory has been named a finalist in the Triad Business Journal’s 2019 Best Places to Work small business category. Up against other well-established and successful companies throughout the Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point area, this was Sales Factory's first year as a finalist, and the marketing agency emerged with distinctive honor.
The Triad Business Journal accepted nominations from companies ready to compete for the honors and then partnered with Quantum Workplace, an Omaha, Neb., based research firm to survey employees. It's the employees of these companies who decide who is awarded, using the survey to evaluate their respective companies on six key engagement categories – team dynamics, trust in leadership, manager effectiveness, individual needs, communication and resources, and personal engagement. This year the competition took on a rock n’ roll theme that was enjoyed by all.
Sales Factory breaks the boredom barrier to not only help brands win but to also help employees win. As a company that encourages a healthy work/life balance, Sales Factory promotes success both in and out of the office. The marketing agency provides a collaborative, learning environment that allows for both easy communication and growth within the company, as well as weekly bike rides, health insurance, gym membership reimbursements, and more.
Sales Factory has cultivated a culture that extends beyond the eight-hour work-day; a culture that doesn't resemble a group of employees, but rather a family. Sales Factory is a family that pulls together their individual talents to better collaborate with and support one another in the office, and a family who continues to spend time together outside of the office, whether that be at happy hour or on a bike.
"The thing that makes Sales Factory special is that we bring together our different backgrounds and interests,” said Peter Mitchell, president. “There is no one ‘Sales Factory type,’ which means we can solve client business problems from multiple vantage points. All you need at Sales Factory is a desire to learn and a desire to win.”
