GREENSBORO, N.C., Oct. 23, 2025 —Sales Factory is launching its 24th annual CreateAthon, a 24-hour creative marathon that brings together employees and community partners to deliver pro bono marketing services for nonprofits. This year, the agency is supporting 26 nonprofit organizations with more than 60 marketing projects, and for the first time, introducing artificial intelligence tools and training to help extend each nonprofit’s impact long after the event.
In addition to branding, website development, social media strategies, and fundraising materials, participating nonprofits will also gain access to a custom-built AI toolkit, including a workshop on how to use generative AI and tailored GPTs to support their ongoing communications efforts.
“Our mission has always been to give nonprofits the tools they need to thrive,” said Ged King, CEO of Sales Factory. “By adding AI to the mix, we’re helping organizations do more with less, giving them smart, scalable solutions that amplify their voice and mission in the community.”
Since 2002, Sales Factory’s CreateAthon has provided more than $3.1 million in pro bono services to over 225 nonprofit organizations across North Carolina and beyond. The event is part of a global movement that began in 1998 and continues to grow as creative professionals lend their skills for social good.
This year’s nonprofits serve a wide range of causes—from food insecurity and pet adoption to disability advocacy and grief counseling. By equipping these organizations with stronger marketing tools and innovative AI capabilities, CreateAthon 2025 is setting the stage for deeper community impact.
Sales Factory’s CreateAthon continues to reflect the agency’s values: solving real-world problems through strategic, creative marketing, and now, with the help of technology that’s shaping the future.
